POLIFIBER GLASS It is an alkali-resistant fiberglass, designed to be added to mortars and concretes in order to reduce cracking and increase its durability and resistance to impact, as well as increase tensile and compressive strength, making it an effective alternative to mesh and metallic fiber.
POLIFIBER GLASS fibres replace the reinforcement intended to absorb the stresses produced during the setting and hardening of poured and shotcrete, being able to partially or totally replace, depending on each case, the main reinforcements.
Comparing the technical benefits of POLIFIBER GLASS Compared to metallic meshes and fibres, we can highlight the following advantages: greater tensile and compressive strength, greater durability, greater resistance to oxidation, provides a better finish, greater resistance to abrasion and impact, greater impermeability that reduces water absorption, better resistance to ice, acts as a reinforcement against disintegration, It confers greater resistance to the settling produced during setting, reducing the formation of cracks that can cause major breaks.
